In The Paris Metro Collection Sofia Lind has been inspired by public art – and especially art in spaces that are frequently visited like commuting locations. Specifically the colours and atmosphere of four metro stations in Paris. “For me, to have the opportunity to absorb the design and architecture of public spaces is like visiting a museum.”
Sofia Lind is a designer and artist from Gothenburg, Sweden. Her work is very much imbued with patterns. The digital part of her work comes in late the process and she allows the materials/paintings to be visible and present.
