The Penguin Chair was designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen and went into production in 1953.It is light, elegant, sculptural and artistic. A mid-century bestseller and a Danish Modern icon. The name Penguin comesfrom its playful shape: it is as if a small penguin is about to embrace you when you sit down.

Relaunched in dining, lounge and rocker iterations, the Penguin Chair is crafted with oak or walnut veneer back and upholstered seat.
